Know About Chorley

Chorley is a market town in Lancashire , England , south of Preston and at the foot of the West Pennine Moors and it is near to the city of Preston and the towns of Blackburn, Bolton, Leyland, Ormskirk and Wigan . Chorley is famous for Chorley cakes are flattened, fruit-filled pastry cakes, and they are a close relative of the more widely known Eccles cake, but have some significant differences. Chorley is home to numerous primary schools both council and church supported and also home to the semi-professional football team, Chorley F.C., also known as the 'Magpies' due to their black and white strip. Chorley town centre is the main location of shopping facilities in the town and it also famous for its market heritage and is quoted as " Lancashire 's market town". In this city there are so many interesting places to visit, such as Astley Hall was built in the 17th century and now serves as the town's museum.
