Know About Clitheroe
Clitheroe is a town in the borough of Ribble Valley Lancashire, England that lies on the southern edge of the Forest of Bowland and used as a base for tourists in the area. Clitheroe has been claimed to be the most (geographically) central town in Britain by its proximity to the Village of Dunsop Bridge. Clitheronians are generally quite traditional and the town has many small independent shops, supermarkets, cafes, hairdressers, & charity shops. You can do much in the city which has many historical places and attractions. The most famous Building in the town is Norman keep. Clitheroe Castle is one of the oldest buildings in Lancashire which is the smallest Norman Keep in England and the castle's most prominent feature is the hole in its side which was made in 1649. The New Events happening in the city are Heritage Open Days at Clitheroe Castle Museum in September, Clitheroe Cycling Grand Prix in August and Last Night of the Proms at Clitheroe Castle Bandstand in the early of august.
